tricky water logged stoney and rocky ascent (92kb) and the way back down (76kb) half way up to Rivington Pike (35kb) Ray points the way, up of course (105kb) Ray rides the ascent with the resevoir in the background (46kb)
the view and the first bit of blue sky for days, you can't see the wind (34kb) more view and yet more wet ground (34kb) the view upto Rivington Pike and the very steep stone ridden ascent (41kb) at last the view from the top, standing at 45 degrees into the wind (43kb) looking back towards the resevoir (40kb)
looking across the West Pennines (31kb) just rode that, starts with a small double drop off (71kb) at the top of one of the climbs of the Commonwealth Games course, bloody steep and a leg burner (57kb) back towards the woods with a wicked descent and some cool singletrack (49kb) what goes up must go down, wheeeeeee...... (50kb)
