The trail is not as hard
or as challenging as those at Coed-y Brenin. And for many,
myself included, that's good. Greater speeds are possible
on the Marin, but be warned, it does rear up and bite the
unwary. A couple of jumps are thrown in for good measure,
[so that's what I hit the last time!] Devilishly hard switch
backs and a series of whoops for good measure.
The elevation is gained by fire road and short, but technically
challenging climbs. One or two stretches of fire road drag
on for some distance.
