Warren, if you lend me your cassette tool and chain whip you can have the cassette that I'm removing. It's not too worn (well you can take a look at it and decide).

nope I am in no rush to sell them still on the cranks..... the gold bits just fell together, i mean you buy the frame with the ano linkages, but i do have a gold hope bb and a gold king headset....

Nice colour co-ordination woth all the gold bits, it must have taken a while to get them matched up like that (I presume that you built it up yourself).

BTW - I'm still thinking about those chain rings (unless they've already gone).

I had a similar inccident on my DH bike a couple of weeks back! Certainly brings you down a few pegs after!

Best thing to do it get right back on your bike and ride that section again!

those jumps look all smooth and nice, but there bloody hard too, its really surprising how much damage they can do...

Glad to hear you are ok!

Can I politely suggest you perhaps ditch the helmet. If the knock was big enough to concussed (edited from-> concust (sp?)) you it must have been big enough to compress the helmet inner shell. May not be the easiest to see but it definitely affects performance.

This is coming from someone who has had three MTB related concussions!

My G/F says it explains a lot about me....no idea what she means

Does it matter what speed it is m8?

I have an 8 speed rear cassette that has seen about a months worth of action, nothing wrong with it at all.

Came off my bike yesterday on the Second jump in the gulley, not really to sure what happened but i hit my head quite hard and gave my self concussion, no damage to my helmet or my bike really so i dont understand how i landed. Maybe it will come back to me in a few days.

Thats the dangers of riding i suppose. oh well.

I have just bought a set of cinder tyres while in wales last weekend and my intention is to run my current nackered tyres on a set of old rims as commute tyres problem being I don't have a spare rear sproket set lying around. Was just wondering if any one had an old one looking for a home that might have one good ring I could run on and just change gear upfront if I need to which I should not as its all flat.
